Updates to your website for core WordPress components and the various plugins are done by us.
Backups for your entire website is also included in the suite. We will back up your website daily (or weekly on the Essentials plan), or on-demand when you send in a request.
We will also keep the backups (so long as you are actively subscribed to our solution), and for up to 7 days upon the expiry/cancellation of your subscription to our Website Development solution.
Security is included as part of our maintenance suite. This Basic version (compared to our Managed Website Security) allows us to detect and remove malware found on your website.

Uptime Monitoring is also included. We will notify you when your website is down. By the time you received the notification, our developers are usually already working on getting it up. We will then email you again when your website is up and running.
We will also make your website unavailable when installing updates for core WordPress components, and the plugins. Usually won't take more than 15 minutes unless it is a huge update.
Performance Optimization is closely related to the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) feature in our solution. This will allow us to perform tests to find out how your website is performing.
If it is running too slowly, we will attempt to analyze and find out what's wrong and then resolving the matter.
